Your audiologist is available to assist you with hearing, with balance, and with related disorders. By employing various testing techniques the audiologist can determine whether someone can hear within the normal range, and if not, which portions of hearing are affected and to what degree. If your audiologist determines that a hearing loss or vestibular abnormality is present he or she will provide recommendations as to what options may be of assistance. Such options may include but are not limited to hearing aids, cochlear implants, surgery or appropriate medical referrals.
